Family Counselor - FPS

Acenda Integrated Health is recruiting for a Family Counselor to support the Family Preservation Services Program in Mercer County, New Jersey. The role involves providing short‑term intensive, in‑home counseling to families.

• Provide short‑term, intensive, in‑home counseling to two families at a time, each receiving a minimum of five hours of weekly face‑to‑face contact.
• Teach, coach, and model parenting skills and effective parent‑child interactions.
• Advocate and link families to concrete services and supports.
• Work collaboratively with DCP&P and community service providers.

• Bachelor's degree in counseling or a related field.
• At least 1.5 years of professional experience in counseling.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Strong engagement, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to analyze work, set goals, develop plans, and use time effectively and efficiently.

• Base pay: $42,000 per year.
