Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work at a fast‑moving and consistent pace.

• Perform all manual labor in the assigned area.
• Keep the area neat and clean.
• Read and use a tape measure.
• Read blueprints and orders.
• Communicate well with coworkers.
• Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.

• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to work quickly and methodically.
• Understanding of safety procedures.
• Good teamwork skills.
• Commitment to the Champion Operating Principles.

• Less than a high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or modular housing is desirable.

The employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, walk, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequent lifting or moving up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting or moving more than 100 pounds is required. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
