We are looking for an Emergency Department Technician I to support our ED team in Hamilton, Montana.

Assist ED staff with patient monitoring and everyday workflow of the department.

Communicate clearly with providers and families regarding the plan of care for patients, answer phones, contact providers, coordinate department paperwork, and work within the electronic medical record.

Observe heart beats, blood pressures, respirations, and continuous pulse oximetry of patients in the ED and recognize basic cardiac rhythms, including life‑threatening rhythms.

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

  Certifications:
  
  C.N.A., EMT, or ED Tech II certification required. AHA BLS certification (within 6 months of hire). Successful completion of a telemetry course (within 3 months of hire), renewed annually.
• Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English; basic computer skills required. Proficient in receptionist duties including communication with providers, faxing, and electronic medical records. Proficient in customer service. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Part‑time, 24 hours/week, variable shifts.

This position is eligible for the part‑time benefit package.
