ResponsibilitiesBitterroot Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pre/Post/PACU in the Surgical Services Department. Responsibilities include providing professional nursing care to patients with varying acuity across the age spectrum, evaluating the nursing process and documenting findings in the EMR, directing patient care activities, collaborating with ancillary staff, and communicating with providers and co-workers regarding patient conditions. Participates in quality and performance improvement projects.
Minimum Qualifications- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN or ADN); current Montana or compact license per Montana Board of Nursing Regulations. License in good standing without disciplinary action or investigation.
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP within 6 months of hire
- Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and knowledge of regulatory requirements such as AORN Standards and OSHA.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year RN experience in the surgical setting
Full-time, 40 hours/week.
