We are seeking a reliable and skilled Framer/Finish Carpenter to join our team building custom residential homes in the Bitterroot Valley. Our commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail ensures we build homes that last. We take great pride in our work and strive to maintain high standards on every project. This role primarily involves assisting with framing, layout, and general labor tasks on residential construction sites.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience, especially in finish carpentry, and possess their own tools. You will work closely with our crew to contribute to the successful completion of high-quality custom homes.
- Assist with framing and layout on residential construction projects
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform detailed finish work with a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Repair, replace, and refinish damaged woodwork and trim as needed.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite
- Follow instructions and work collaboratively with the crew
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies
- Construction and/or framing experience required
- Finish carpentry experience required
- Must provide your own tools
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work throughout the day
- Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Willingness to travel and work on overnight projects (per diem provided)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a professional attitude
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
