* Qualifications:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university required.
* Applicant must have one of the following: *
* NT endorsement on a valid Michigan teaching certificate (Preferred)
* LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor (Preferred)
* LLPC - Limited Licensed Professional Counselor
* LLMSW - Limited Licensed Master's Social Worker
* LMSW - Licensed Master's Social Worker
* Experience with Character Education Programs and SEL preferred. Skills &
Position Requirements :
* Provide direct support to students in the areas of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and social-emotional development.
* Ability to actively listen to students and relate to them in a positive, supportive and reinforcing manner.
* Establish and maintain consistent behavioral expectations, with knowledge of PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) and Restorative Practices preferred.
* Deliver and support Tier II & III behavioral interventions for students in need of additional assistance.
* Collaborate with students, families, staff, and community partners.
* Support positive school climate using PBIS and restorative practices.
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
* Advocate for equitable access to counseling services for all students.
* Maintain reliable and consistent attendance.
* Successfully complete all district hiring requirements prior to the start of employment.
* Maintain reliable and consistent attendance to ensure high-quality support and service.
