About the Job
Assistant Manager at Domino’s Pizza is responsible for day‑to‑day store operations, cost control, inventory, cash control, and customer relations. The role requires strong leadership, judgement, math skills, and the ability to multitask.
Job Requirements and Duties- Manage all store functions during shifts, including staffing, paperwork, inventory, cost control, and cash control.
- Set a strong example and enforce all policies and procedures 100% of the time.
- Maintain store cleanliness, marketing efforts, profitability, and a professional image.
- Ensure excellent customer service and maintain attendance and punctuality.
- Transport to/from work and deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.
- Support training and development of team members.
Employees can progress from Assistant Manager to General Manager, franchise ownership, or corporate roles.

Responsibilities- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product and take inventory, completing associated paperwork.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orientation and training are provided on the job. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to give correct instructions, communicate with customers and co‑workers, and process orders.
Essential Functions / Skills- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.
- Make correct monetary change.
- Take and process orders via telephone and in person.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Navigate delivery addresses using maps and turn‑by‑turn directions.
- Handle product delivery while carrying, pushing, and walking in adverse terrain.
- Maintain good eye‑hand coordination for rapid, accurate movements.
- Stand for the majority of the shift; walk short distances.
- Carry, lift, and push items up to 50 pounds, including cases of ingredients and delivery cargo.
- Climb stairs or ladders infrequently; drive delivery vehicle for all shifts.
- Stooped or bent positions for 30–45 seconds at a time when assembling pizza.
- Reach above 72 inches occasionally for oven controls and storage tasks.
- Use hands continuously for tasks such as dough shaping and box assembly.
- Operate in varying indoor temperatures (36–90°F) and weather conditions when delivering.
- Manage exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, fumes, and sharp equipment.
- Work in cramped walk‑in cooler and hot areas up to 500°F.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Access to an insured vehicle for product delivery.
- Deliver product by car and provide flyers or door hangers.
