Job Description
CDM Smith is seeking a dynamic technical leader to oversee and expand our PFASs Forensics services.
Our services are targeted at clients in the aviation, industrial, municipal, and federal markets. The role will lead business development opportunities in collaboration with local and national project managers, technical experts, research and development team, and marketing professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and expand business development for PFASs Forensics services.
- Collaborate with project managers, technical experts, R&D, and marketing to deliver client solutions.
- Represent CDM Smith at client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Bachelor's degree (PhD in PFASs Application Forensics preferred).
- Over 15 years of related experience, or equivalent additional directly related experience.
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
- Active membership in a related professional organization.
- Relevant professional license or certification (e.g., P.E., LEED AP, Env SP, ACIP).
- Strong relationships with aviation, industrial, municipal, federal clients.
- Knowledge of transition from PFAS‑containing firefighting foams.
- Basic understanding of PFAS chemistry.
- Expert knowledge of corporate governance, organization design principles, accounting, finance, supply chain management, and organization management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to understand highly complex technical, professional and business materials.
50% travel may be required.
