Voice Teaching Artist Wanted — NJ (Morris, Hudson, Essex and Bergen Counties)
Founded in 2001, Soyulla ( ) is a boutique music management organization trusted across NYC, New Jersey, and Connecticut for engaging exceptional teaching artists to provide private instruction to students of all ages and levels. We are currently expanding our roster of voice instructors able to teach private lessons in Morris, Hudson, Essex, and Bergen counties, NJ. A piano background is a plus.
Compensation is competitive and varies across our divisions. In addition to private lessons, selected artists may have access to after-school teaching opportunities through Soyulla Center Stage ( ) and live performance opportunities through our Soyulla Stars Division ( ). Rates starting at $85/hr and ranging up to $200/hr reflect differences in division, experience level, responsibilities, and engagement type, with an additional commute compensation provided on top of the hourly rate.

Qualifications
- Must be able to teach in Morris, Hudson, Essex, or Bergen County, NJ — you do not need to live in New Jersey, but you must be able to teach in one or more of these counties
- Bachelor of Music or Bachelor of Arts in Music, with a focus on voice (Master of Music degree a plus)
- Piano background a plus
- Professional-level performance experience
- Minimum of five years of private studio teaching experience
- Ability to teach students of all ages, from young children through adults and seniors
- Versatility across multiple genres, including classical, musical theater, and pop
- A strong commitment to mentorship and student growth, with the ability to bring joy, excitement, and inspiration to students of every age and stage
- Warm, engaging teaching style with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
$85.00 – $85.00 per hour
