Non-profit AVP of Finance

We are working with the Executive Team of a Non-profit in the Higher Education space, based in Bergen County, NJ. They are looking to bring on a dynamic AVP of Finance to join their team and function as the right-hand to the CFO. • Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounting, FP&A, and financial reporting
• Lead annual budgeting process including development, planning, and consolidation.
• Oversaw the month, quarter, and year-end closing processes
• Maintain a strong internal control environment and serve as liaison to external auditors
• Lead, supervise, and mentor accounting staff including Controller
• Manage treasury including cash forecasting and liquidity

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA
• 8+ years of Accounting & Finance experience in the not-for-profit space
• Controller within a non-profit OR public accounting experience with Higher Education clients

$145,000 - $165,000

Medical, dental, 403b plan, 4 weeks of PTO and paid holidays
