Part‑Time Zoning Code Enforcement Officer
Seeking candidate for the position of Part‑Time Zoning Code Enforcement Officer. This part‑time position involves up to 10 hours per week and offers hourly compensation ranging from $30.00 to $35.00, based on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities- Review zoning applications to ensure compliance with state, county, and local zoning law.
- Apply local ordinances and carry out enforcement actions.
- Conduct inspections and prepare zoning permits.
- Examine plans and permit applications.
- Preferred:
Zoning Official Certificate and knowledge of Municipal Land Use Law. - If lacking a certificate, must obtain it within one year of employment.
- Valid New Jersey driver’s license required.
- Relevant experience in zoning enforcement, permits, or related fields.
Hourly rate: $30.00 - $35.00, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
