MRI Technologist​/Technician

Job Summary

Contract MRI Technologist available for a 13-week assignment in Pomona, NJ. Start date 03/25/2024. 3 days, 12-hour shifts from 09:30 to 19:30 (no on-call). Pay $67 per hour with stipend for travelers over 50 miles.

The MRI Technologist performs high-quality magnetic resonance imaging scans on patients of all ages under direct supervision of a radiologist. Floats between Mainland and City campuses. Utilizes Phillips diagnostic equipment and an OEC C-arm. Charts in Cerner system and wears Caribbean blue scrubs.

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• Licensed by the State of New Jersey, Department of Environmental Protection
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Advanced ARRT certification within one year of hiring
• Experience in operating room (OR) and emergency department (ED)
• Travel required; first‑time traveler accepted; travel stipend for distances over 50 miles
