Overview

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated CT Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team at a respected NJ Hospital network in Northern NJ. In this role, you’ll perform high-quality CT scans, ensure accurate diagnostic images, and help maintain a smooth daily workflow. You’ll work closely with physicians and clinical staff to provide compassionate, efficient patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $58.00/hr

Annual Salary: $40/hr – $58/hr (varies depending on years of experience)

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and operate the CT scanner in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional CT procedures with precision and attention to detail
  • Verify patient identification, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the exam
  • Review and archive completed exams in PACS and properly complete documentation in the RIS
  • Maintain imaging equipment and ensure exam rooms are properly stocked and organized
  • Stay current with new CT techniques and best practices to support continuous quality improvement
  • Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and nursing staff to ensure timely patient care
Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Registered by the ARRT in Radiologic Technology and CT
  • Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association
  • Minimum of one (1) year of radiologic technologist experience preferred; prior CT experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and vascular systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Works well independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
