The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Our Physical Therapy Aides work collaboratively with physical therapists, patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to support the restoration of function, improvement of mobility, and enhancement of patient safety. Through diligent maintenance of the clinical environment, equipment preparation, and direct assistance during patient care, our aides ensure a seamless, clean, and efficient rehabilitation experience. We view our Physical Therapist Aides as an essential part of the patient care team and recognize the meaningful impact they have on clinic workflow and patient comfort.

As a Physical Therapist Aide, a typical day might include the following:

• Maintaining strict compliance with general housekeeping protocols and infection prevention standards across the department.
• Preparing and maintaining the treatment area, ensuring all tables, mats, and equipment are clean and ready for use.
• Retrieving and setting up specialized equipment, including hot packs, cold packs, and electrical stimulation devices.
• Assisting physical therapists directly with patient care, including helping patients transfer safely onto and off of treatment tables and exercise equipment.
• Managing clerical needs of the department by answering phones, taking accurate messages, and supporting front-desk workflows.
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Managing supply inventory in treatment areas and reporting any equipment maintenance needs to leadership.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certifications: CPR Certified
