You will drive departmental efficiency, manage regulatory and contractual compliance, and guide a dedicated team of claims professionals.

Review problem files, including insureds disputing denials, Department of Insurance complaints, and London Complaint Department inquiries.

Litigation & Counsel Management:
Recommend and assign defense attorneys appointed by London to defend losses or request coverage opinions, keeping all involved parties updated and directing staff on coverage issues.

Financial & Accounting Oversight:
Review daily checks prepared by the team, collaborate with accounting to verify funds for weekly claim payments, run monthly Bordereaux reports, and reconcile payments with accounting.

Audits & Compliance:
Prepare claim files for annual audits, review London contracts to ensure full compliance, manage adjuster panels for each contract, and handle company document production for subpoenas.

Vendor & Quality Control:
Interview and vet adjusting firms for compatibility, perform Peer Reviews for London contracts, monitor adjuster performance, and maintain records of E&O certificates.

Supervisory

Experience:

Proven background in successful team leadership, staff supervision, and performance management.
