PPC Specialist

Smart State Inc. is expanding! We're looking for a PPC Specialist to join our New Jersey-based Media team. Fort Lee, New Jersey. Work Mode: 100% Onsite (Hybrid/Remote not available).

As the PPC Specialist, you will support the PPC Manager in the day-to-day execution, monitoring, and optimization of media campaigns across Paid Search. This is a hands-on role for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated to build expertise in performance marketing within a regulated industry.

You will help keep campaigns running smoothly, identify performance trends, and support ongoing testing and optimization efforts. This role is ideal for someone looking to deepen their paid media skills while contributing to meaningful growth for Smart State's products.

• Assist in launching, monitoring, and optimizing paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, Bing, Meta, and other relevant platforms.
• Support keyword research, audience research, and competitive analysis to help improve campaign performance.
• Track campaign metrics and help identify opportunities to improve CPA, CTR, CVR, and ROAS.
• Help prepare performance reports and summarize key findings for the PPC Manager.
• Support A/B testing of ad copy, creative, landing pages, and audience targeting.
• Collaborate with creative, content, analytics, and product teams to support campaign execution.
• Help ensure campaigns follow applicable advertising, brand, and responsible gaming guidelines.
• Assist with budget pacing, spend tracking, and routine campaign maintenance.

• 4-5 years of experience in PPC, SEM, paid social, digital marketing, or campaign coordination.
• Familiarity with Google Ads and basic performance marketing concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stay organized while supporting multiple campaigns and priorities.
• Industry experience in iGaming or Gaming is a plus.

• Foundational understanding of Paid Social and Display platforms. (If you speak "Paid Social" and "Display," that's a huge plus but it's absolutely optional!)
