Full‑time, Day shift; one‑year RN Residency program.

$48.29 per hour.

The RWJBarnabas Health New Graduate RN Residency program is an intensive one‑year program designed to transition new graduate nurses into professional practice. The program includes:

• Preceptor and relationship‑guided transition.
• Continuing education and professional development.
• Specialty‑specific foundational courses.
• Application of professional accountability and ethical practice.
• Focus on patient safety, quality, and satisfaction.
• Emphasis on self‑care for nurses.
• Mentorship support through the first year.

As a resident, you will:

• Participate in preceptor‑guided clinical rotations.
• Complete mandatory coursework and assessments.
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning.
• Apply nursing best practices and clinical evidence.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with hospital standards.

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• New Jersey RN licensure prior to hire.
• Less than 6 months RN experience.
• Commitment to orientation and training requirements.
• BLS certification.
