Certified Welding Inspector

• Ensure equal opportunity in employment
• Oversight of the fabrication facility's quality assurance
• On-site inspections during the construction phase
• Communicating with the Project Manager regarding work order requirements
• Resolving schedule issues with Project Manager, fabrication shops, contractors, and other third parties
• Perform services in accordance with project requirements and contract
• Generate and process timesheets, billing reports, and inspection reports
• Maintain positive relationship between Bureau Veritas, fabrication facility, and the client

• Certified Welding Inspector (American Welding Society)
• D1.5 Bridge Inspection Experience a plus
• NDT Level II a plus
• AMPP/NACE Level II a plus
• Ability to work remotely from the established Bureau Veritas offices.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required.
• Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Lotus Notes preferred.
• Proficient use of modern communication and computer equipment including cell phones, laptop computers and digital cameras.
• Ability to multi-task and properly execute multiple simultaneous assignments without sacrificing efficiency or quality of the work.
• Team player willing to work with clients, field staff, other Bureau Veritas offices, and the worldwide Bureau Veritas organization.

Demonstrates expertise in quality assurance oversight and inspection processes, ensuring compliance with project requirements and maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders. Proficient in generating reports and managing multiple assignments efficiently while fostering positive relationships with clients and teams.
