CEO & VP R&D
We're looking for a hands‑on formulation chemist who is equally comfortable at the bench and in front of a customer. You'll develop and optimize encapsulated actives and pigment systems for personal care and adjacent markets — and you'll also help translate that science into commercial wins by supporting distributors, prospects, and key accounts on application and formulation questions.
This is a rare hybrid role: roughly 60–70% bench/lab development and 30–40% technical‑commercial engagement. It suits someone who loves chemistry but gets energized by seeing their work land in a customer's finished product.
What you’ll do- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot formulations incorporating our encapsulated actives and pigments across skincare, color cosmetics, and emerging verticals.
- Run bench‑scale experiments, characterize systems (stability, release, sensory, compatibility), and document results to a high standard.
- Build application/demo formulations and starter formulations that make it easy for customers to adopt our ingredients.
- Support distributors and prospects directly — answer formulation and cost‑in‑use questions, join technical calls, and present at customer visits and trade shows (e.g., in‑cosmetics).
- Partner with sales and business development on technical positioning, sample requests, and converting trials into commercial volume.
- Feed market and customer insights back into the NPD pipeline.
- Degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or related field.
- 4+ years of hands‑on personal care / cosmetics formulation experience; encapsulation, emulsions, or delivery‑system experience is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated commercial instinct — you've worked with customers, distributors, or sales teams, not just inside the lab.
- Strong communicator in English (Hebrew a plus) comfortable presenting to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and industry events.
- Self‑directed and comfortable in a small, fast‑moving company where you wear multiple hats.
