Head of Sales/Sales Manager | HVAC Distribution | NJ (In-Person) $110k-$135k base + performance incentive | OTE $135k-$165k

Seven Executive is partnered with an independent, family-owned wholesale distributor to the heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration trade on a newly created Sales Manager search, and this isn't a back-office strategy role.

This is a player-coach seat. You'll carry your own book of accounts while coaching the outside sales team, tightening up CRM and account review discipline, and building the territory and account assignment logic that doesn't yet exist across seven branches.

They're not looking for a marketer or a lead-gen function. They're looking for someone who sells, who can stand in front of a branch manager and a customer with equal credibility, and who wants to build the sales playbook from scratch as the business grows.

• Has carried a personal number in B2B distribution, wholesale, or a related trade
• Has coached or managed other salespeople, ideally as a player-coach
• Knows how to run a CRM and a pipeline, not just talk about one
• Is comfortable working branch floors as much as boardrooms
• Has helped build or fix a sales process, territory map, or account structure before
• Understands margin, and knows when to hold price and when to walk away

• A newly created role with real license to shape how sales gets done
• Personal account ownership alongside a coaching mandate
• A structured ramp period and travel support across South Jersey and Greater Philadelphia
