ITS Field Support Technician

$27 - $33 per hour plus expenses, benefits and company truck

Travel Required:
Extensive travel throughout the week to project sites across the region including overnight stays

Please Note:
This role is best suited to someone who is comfortable being on the road most weeks and spending extended periods away from home during the working week.

We are seeking a hands-on ITS Field Support Technician to join our field operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, traveling to different job sites, and being involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of roadside technology and infrastructure.

You'll support the installation and integration of electronic roadside systems, assist with construction and maintenance activities, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

• Assisting with field installations, maintenance, and road construction activities
• Operating hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment
• Supporting the testing, calibration, and integration of roadside technology systems
• Troubleshooting equipment and resolving field issues
• Completing service documentation and installation records
• Working closely with technicians and supervisors on active project sites

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, field service, maintenance, or similar hands‑on environments
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Linux, or related computer systems
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and travel extensively
