Appliance Repair Technician - Experience Required

Appliance Man NJ has an opening for an experienced Appliance Repair Technician. Due to steady growth, we are currently seeking individuals who share our company core values. Appliance Repair Technician Responsibilities:

• Install home appliances/equipment
• Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer's home Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
• Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced
• Complete all quotes/invoices daily
• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
• Maintain a safe work environment by following codes and standards
  
  Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Build trust and confidence in our company as a major home appliance's repair technician

Job Skills /

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License with good standing
• At least 2yrs experience in the residential and/ or commercial appliance repair industry
• Technical Understanding, Attention to Detail, Dependability, Job Knowledge, Documentation Skills, Dealing with Complexity, Decision Making, Problem Solving, Verbal Communication, Written Communication
• Proficiency to navigate tablet based technology
• The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, dexterity and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances
• Technician to provide personal work (hand) tools
• Sealed System/ EPA Certification is a Plus

Compensation: $60,000 - $100,000 annually

Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications

• Commission Based
• Paid Weekly
