The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is a full‑time, on‑site role based in New Jersey, United States. In this position, the DSP provides person‑centered support to adults with IDD, assisting with daily living activities, community integration, and social engagement in safe and supportive environments.

The role also involves participating in ongoing training, adhering to agency policies and procedures, and modeling respectful, trauma‑informed, and culturally sensitive care.

• Community & Outings:
  Go to events, take a class together, or explore local spots while building social and independence skills.

  Coaching:
  
  Assist with daily life skills like basic cooking, budgeting for purchases, laundry, and everyday etiquette.
• Workplace & Study Support:
  Provide 1‑on‑1 tutoring and help individuals succeed on the job site with basic self‑care and social skills.
• Goal Tracking:
  Follow individualized service and behavior support plans to help individuals gain independence and boost confidence.

• Age: 18+ with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Driving:
  Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, a clean driving record (no more than 5 points), and a willingness to travel (~80% local travel).
• Compliance:
  Willingness to complete required state (DDD) and Eleos training, and cooperate fully with standard program inspections.

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
