AAA Hamilton, New Jersey is seeking full‑time drivers to join our Roadside Assistance team! We are looking for dependable and empathetic individuals who truly love to help others whether it’s changing a flat tire, jump‑starting a car battery or towing a vehicle, and don’t mind working outside in various weather conditions.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly rate $24.75 to $27.10 based on experience
  • 10% shift differential for 2nd shift (adds $2.00+ an hour)
  • Overtime and monthly bonus opportunities – potential to earn up to an additional $300/month

Responsibilities
  • Provide lock‑out, fuel delivery, battery jump‑starts and tire change services
  • Sell and install car batteries (Mobile Battery Technician)
  • Provide tow and recovery services (Tow Truck Driver)
  • Communicate with members effectively to keep them informed and ensure safety
  • Enter call information accurately into in‑truck technology and process payments
  • Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safe operating condition and adequate securing at all times
  • Participate in special events (parades, TV, radio, social media) promoting the brand
Qualifications
  • At least 21 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of residence and maintenance of all state and local licensing requirements
  • Ability to pass a physical examination as required by the Department of Transportation and/or company policy
  • 3 years of experience in an automotive/mechanical environment, technical school, or minimum 3 years of experience in sales and/or customer service (preferred)
  • Lift and carry equipment up to 75lbs; bend, kneel, and balance to change tires, inspect, and push vehicles; use hand tools to provide service
  • Successful completion of pre‑ and post‑employment screening (criminal, drug, vehicle)
  • Operate passenger vehicles and light‑medium duty trucks (manual and automatic transmissions)
  • Effective communication skills in writing, verbally, via email, and using GPS
  • Complete required departmental training within 60 days of hire and additional future training as required
