Tax Accountant Hamilton, OH

Tax Accountant at System One, Hamilton, NJ. Direct hire, onsite. Salary range $83,000–$130,000 annually (DOE).

Flexible schedule with availability Monday through Saturday. On-site role with a team of tax professionals.

• Prepare and review complex federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, S corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Lead client engagements including tax planning, basis calculations, and shareholder distributions, serving as primary contact for high-value accounts.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff to improve workflow efficiency and technical accuracy.
• Partner with firm leadership to implement process improvements that reduce turnaround times and improve client satisfaction.
• Leverage technical expertise in client-facing communication, driving long-term client retention and referrals.

• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a tax preparer.
• Proficient in preparing NJ and PA individual income tax returns (required).
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
• CPA or EA designation preferred, but not mandatory.
• Experience with Ultra Tax CS software is a strong plus.

Pay range approximately $83,000 – $130,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and license.
