We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our in-house legal team. This role is ideal for someone who is excited to learn how a legal department operates within a multi‑state equipment dealership and wants broad exposure to a variety of topics, including general corporate matters, human resources, collections, vendor relationships, and real estate transactions.
Job Description- Draft letters and memos to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with all collection activities, including the preparation of mechanic’s liens and bond claims.
- File documents with courts and administrative agencies.
- Proofread sensitive and confidential communications.
- Initiate and complete special projects.
- Perform other administrative tasks and duties as assigned.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to complete assigned projects in a timely fashion.
- High level of motivation, organization, professionalism, and trustworthiness, with an emphasis on treating others with dignity and respect.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience working with CRM and/or HR software platforms.
- 3+ years of experience as a legal or executive assistant, or
- 3+ years of experience in an HR setting.
