We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Distribution Planner Scheduler to plan and schedule the movement of products through our distribution operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the distribution of products to ensure timely and efficient delivery throughout our network of DCs and Branches.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze data to plan warehouse activities and develop shipment and transfer schedules.
- Coordinate with Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to ensure adequate supply of products.
- Maintain accurate distribution records and monitor pending shipments.
- Monitor replenishment settings of Branch and DCs and coordinate changes as necessary.
- Track orders in coordination with the Distribution Manager.
- Resolve issues related to distribution, including delays, discrepancies, and shortages.
- Participate in regular reviews of distribution performance and support necessary improvements.
- Participate in buyer/sales planning meetings.
- Collaborate with purchasing suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Prepare and analyze reports on distribution metrics and performance.
- Facilitate Operations Manager meetings.
- Support production planning.
- Proven experience as a Distribution Planner, Scheduler, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in distribution planning software and tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to lead daily planning/scheduling meetings.
- BS degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
