To provide leadership and supervision in administering the educational program of the District in order to promote the educational development and achievement of students in accordance with Collier County School Board policies, administrative procedures, rules and regulations, and applicable law. The role of a principal is also to provide strategic direction in the school system. Principals monitor standardized curricula, assess teaching methods, program development and improvement, as well as in professional staff development, monitor student achievement, encourage parent involvement, administer the budget, hire and evaluate staff and oversee facilities.
Education- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or related field
- Certificate/License Florida Certification in Educational Leadership or School Principal
- Successful school based administrative experience
- Minimum of seven (7) years full‑time school experience in a certified position with two (2) full years in a school‑based administrative position or one (1) year in a school‑based administrative position and one (1) year in a District administrative position
- Extensive successful teaching experience at the school level, preferably in more than one subject area and grade level.
- Must have prior AP/Principal experience with evidence of 3 years of successful evaluations within the last 5 years as an administrator.

- Two (2) professional references within the last two (2) years (24 months); one reference must be from the most recent supervisor and include an original signature and date on letterhead.
