- Master’s Degree
- Valid School Counselor licensure, certification, and/or registration as required by the Ohio State Board of Education
- Successful counseling experience desired
- Willingness and ability to work with students and staff as a team member
- Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills
- Computer expertise appropriate to the position
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance
- History of strong work record, including good job attendance
- Documented evidence of acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Board Policy
The Guidance Counselor will support 10th – 12th grade students by providing activities and the environment for a broad, comprehensive developmental guidance program involving students, parents, teachers, administrators, specialists, and community agencies.
