| GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This instructor will teach science courses to 10th, 11th, and/or 12th grade students. Courses taught by the Science Department include:
Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Anatomy & Physiology, and Environmental Science. This position will teach a subset of those courses. A candidate with dual licensure in Mathematics would be a plus.

| QUALIFICATIONS

* Appropriate licensure through the Ohio State Board of Education covering all Science course areas for Grades 10- 12 such as Integrated Science (132010) and/or Comprehensive Science (130000);

* Dual licensure through the Ohio State Board of Education covering all Mathematics course areas for Grades 10- 12 such as Integrated Mathematics (110094) and/or Mathematics (110000) preferred;

* Willingness/ability to work with students, teachers and administrators as a team member;

* Computer expertise appropriate to the position;

* Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills;

* State-issued identification card with photograph;

* History of strong work record, including good job attendance; and

* Documented evidence of acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Board Policy.

| STARTING DATE August 2026

| SALARY Based upon experience and education ($52,)

| WORK YEAR 185 days - 7.5 hours/day
