High School Science Instructor

This instructor will teach science courses to 10th, 11th, and/or 12th grade students. Courses taught by the Science Department include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy & Physiology, and Environmental Science. This position will teach a subset of those courses. A candidate with dual licensure in Mathematics would be a plus.

• Appropriate licensure through the Ohio State Board of Education covering all Science course areas for Grades 10-12 such as Integrated Science (132010) and/or Comprehensive Science (130000).
• Dual licensure through the Ohio State Board of Education covering all Mathematics course areas for Grades 10-12 such as Integrated Mathematics (110094) and/or Mathematics (110000) preferred.
• Willingness/ability to work with students, teachers, and administrators as a team member.
• Computer expertise appropriate to the position.
• Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills.
• State‑issued identification card with photograph.
• History of a strong work record, including good job attendance.
• Documented evidence of an acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Board Policy.

Starting Date: August 2026

Salary: Based upon experience and education ($52,819 – $110,180)

Work Year: 185 days – 7.5 hours per day
