Limited Intervention Specialist

Position: 1 YR Limited Intervention Specialist
Description:

The district is seeking a qualified Intervention Specialist (PK5) for a one-year limited contract for the  school year. This position will begin the school year by covering a maternity leave for approximately the first 12 weeks, followed by a transition into a caseload management role serving students across the district's elementary buildings for the remainder of the school year.

Responsibilities:

* Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with IEP goals and objectives

* Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families

* Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

* Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education requirements

* Manage and support a caseload of students across multiple elementary buildings following the maternity leave assignment

* Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and progress monitoring

Qualifications:

* Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (PK5 or equivalent)

* Knowledge of special education law and best practices

* Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

* Ability to work flexibly across multiple elementary settings
