Qualifications and

Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Valid state teaching license/certification in Special Education (or eligibility in Ohio)
  • Prior special education teaching experience preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Adapt and deliver engaging lesson plans for students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
  • Track student progress, maintain records, and communicate with parents/guardians
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
