Preschool Intervention Specialist – East Elementary  School Year

Job Overview:
This position requires a valid Ohio teaching certificate/license in Special Education and a valid Ohio P-3 teaching certificate/license. The specialist will provide instructional services to IEP-identified students in resource rooms and inclusionary settings. The role involves close collaboration with special education personnel, classroom teachers, and participating in IEP, ETR, and other meetings as directed by principals and/or Special Services. Teamwork with other teachers is encouraged.

• Deliver specialized instruction to IEP-identified students in resource and inclusionary settings.
• Collaborate with special-education staff and classroom teachers.
• Collate instructional data and participate in IEP and ETR meetings.
• Serve as part of a teaching team, ensuring cross-categorical support.

• Valid Ohio teaching certificate/license in Special Education.
• Valid Ohio P-3 teaching certificate/license.
• Proper licensing in the grade level, subject area, and student population served.
• Successful completion of an FBI/BCI criminal background check.
