Intervention Specialist at Morgan Elementary

Ross Local School District is seeking a highly qualified and student-focused Intervention Specialist to serve students in grades Kindergarten through Fourth Grade at Morgan Elementary School
. The successful candidate will provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities while collaborating with staff and families to ensure all students achieve their fullest potential.

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License
• Knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong instructional skills and understanding of evidence-based interventions
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support personnel
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Provide direct instruction and intervention services to students with disabilities in grades K-4
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Collect and analyze student data to guide instructional decisions
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support student achievement in inclusive settings
• Participate in Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs), IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all special education requirements
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Participate in professional development and building-level initiatives

Salary and benefits will be in accordance with the negotiated agreement and applicable Board policies.
