intervention specialist (md/social communications unit)- school year

must hold a valid ohio teaching certificate/license in special education. Will be assigned to work in a cross-categorical manner in resource rooms and/or inclusionary settings, providing instructional services to iep-identified students that may be on the autism spectrum. Will work closely with other special education personnel as well as classroom teachers. Will be expected to attend iep, etr, and other meetings as set by the principals and/or special services.

May work with a team of teachers. Must be properly licensed in grade level, subject and student population.

applicants that are offered a teaching position shall be required to submit to an fbi/bci criminal background check. Failure to satisfactorily pass the criminal background check based upon the discretion of the board of education will preclude an individual from employment with the fairfield city school district.

any person who knowingly makes a false statement is guilty of falsification under section 2921.13 of the revised code, which is a misdemeanor of the first degree.
