Educational Assistant (full-time) North Elementary

Two positions available seven (7) hours per day for the  school year. Under the direction of the Principal or designee, this employee assists in the supervision, care and instruction of students in grades K-5 by monitoring student behavior, performing classroom tasks, providing information to appropriate school personnel, and assisting students on an Individual Education Program (IEP). Assist students in the social communications or multiple disabilities classroom.

Beginning hourly rate: $16.99/hour and up, commensurate with related experience for regular employment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Apply for and maintain an Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce (ODEW).

Candidates will be required to submit to an FBI/BCI criminal background check. Failure to satisfactorily pass the criminal background check based upon the discretion of the Board of Education will preclude an individual from employment with the Fairfield City School District.
