Educational Assistant - Preschool - East Elementary

* Educational Assistant Cross Categorical Preschool 7 hours per day East Elementary GENERAL DESCRIPTION

One position available seven (7) hours per day.
Under the direction of the Principal or designee, this employee assists in the supervision, care and instruction of preschool students.

• Beginning hourly rate: $17.37/hour and up, commensurate with related experience for regular employment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Apply for and maintain an Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce (ODEW) and meet one of the following criteria (1) hold an Associate's degree or higher, (2) have taken forty-eight semester hours of college coursework, or (3) take a Paraprofessional exam.
