Responsibilities & Requirements

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI exams in a timely manner while maintaining a strong understanding of MRI safety protocols, including those related to research workflows. They interact positively with multiple patient populations and serve as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team. Flexibility is essential, as the position may require on-call availability and holiday coverage. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education:

Graduate from ARRT accredited MRI educational program OR Graduate from ARMRIT accredited MRI educational program.

Required Licenses: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT at hire (Preferred). OR ARRT in one of these:
Radiography (R), Nuclear Medicine (N), Radiation Therapy (T), Sonography (S) required and get ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT within 24 months of hire date. Current BLS required.

Minimum

Work Experience:

One year of MRI experience preferred.

  • Maintain MRI Equipment and Safety Standards
  • Collaboration with multi-disciplinary health care team
  • Document and Manage Patient Information
  • Research of Implantable Devices for MRI Compatibility
  • Adhere to Compliance and Regulatory Standards
  • Assist with Workflow and Operational Efficiency
