The Case Management Supervisor provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for DeCoach Recovery Centre’s Case Management and Peer Support services. This role is responsible for supervising staff, ensuring high-quality client-centered care, supporting compliance and documentation standards, and helping expand the Case Management and Peer Support Team to meet the growing needs of clients and program operations. The Supervisor mentors team members, monitors caseload distribution, supports complex cases, and works collaboratively with leadership to ensure service delivery aligns with DeCoach Recovery Centre’s clinical mission, operational standards, and funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Supervise and support a team of Case Managers and Peer Support Specialists
  • Provide onboarding, training, coaching, and performance feedback
  • Promote staff development through mentoring, shadowing, and ongoing education
  • Support recruitment, scheduling, and team growth as the program expands
  • Foster a positive team culture focused on accountability, compassion, and recovery-oriented care
Program Growth & Service Expansion
  • Assist leadership in developing and expanding the Case Management and Peer Support program
  • Identify staffing needs and recommend improvements to workflow and service delivery
  • Support implementation of new systems, procedures, and program initiatives
  • Strengthen partnerships with community agencies to expand referral networks and resources
Operational Oversight
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient service delivery and follow-through
  • Ensure equitable caseload distribution and appropriate client assignments
  • Track productivity, service engagement, and discharge planning outcomes
  • Coordinate coverage and staffing needs to maintain continuity of care
Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Audit case files and documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness
  • Ensure staff meet documentation standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor data entry and reporting accuracy in required systems (HMIS or other internal platforms)
  • Ensure compliance with contract expectations, grant requirements, and agency standards
Clinical/Client Support
  • Provide support and guidance for complex or high-risk client situations
  • Assist in problem-solving barriers to treatment access, housing, legal issues, and relapse prevention supports
  • Support case planning, treatment coordination, discharge planning, and advocacy efforts
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure integrated care and client safety
  • Lead team meetings, case conferences, and peer support check-ins
  • Serve as liaison between frontline staff and leadership
  • Provide reports on program performance, caseload trends, and client outcomes
  • Communicate concerns, staffing needs, and operational barriers proactively
Requirements & Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Addictions Studies, or a related field
Experience
  • 2–5+ years of experience in case management, addictions services, mental health, or community-based support
  • Minimum 1–2 years of leadership, supervisory, training, or team lead experience preferred
  • Experience working with recovery populations and trauma-informed approaches strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
  • Knowledge of community resources, housing supports, income assistance, and recovery services
  • Strong understanding of documentation standards and compliance expectations
  • Experience with electronic charting, or data reporting systems preferred
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and crisis management skills
  • Ability to work independently while supporting organizational goals and program growth
