MRI Tech - MRI

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Administration of contrast media
• Maintain MRI equipment and safety standards
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary health care team
• Document and manage patient information
• Research implantable devices for MRI compatibility
• Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards
• Assist with workflow and operational efficiency

• Minimum Education: Graduate from ARRT accredited MRI educational program OR Graduate from ARMRIT accredited MRI educational program
• Minimum
  
  Work Experience:
  
  One year of MRI experience preferred.
• Required Licenses:
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT at hire (Preferred)
  • OR ARRT in one of these Radiography (R)/Nuclear Medicine (N)/Radiation Therapy (T)/Sonography (S) required and get ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT within 24 months of hire date
• Current BLS Required
• Required Skills:
  • Proficient in operating an MRI scanner and adjusting imaging parameters
  • Well-versed and compliant in MRI safety and understands research workflow for MRI safety requirements
  • Patient positioning & comfort while ensuring patient safety
  • Emergency response

  • The ability to work independently and work well with team members
  • Capable of performing timely, quality MRI exams
