Work Schedule

Full‑Time (80 hours bi‑weekly)
Mon‑Fri
No weekends and no holidays!

Job Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program.
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through AMT, NCCT, or NHA.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by AAMA and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
  • Current, active RN or LPN licensure, or Respiratory Therapist or Technician credential is also acceptable.
  • EKG.
  • Injections.
  • Venipuncture.
  • Performance of common lab tests according to established CLIA guidelines and Tri Health policy.
  • 1–2 years experience in a physician office or related setting.
Job Overview

This position assists the physician in examination and treatment of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of physician. It includes interviewing patients, measuring vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, recording information on patients' charts, and preparing treatment rooms. The role will be cross‑trained to perform duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of patient care.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provides support to physicians/clinical staff.
  • Skillfully performs/obtains tests and specimens ensuring proper departmental procedures.
  • Performs technical skills according to hospital’s and department’s policies, appropriate competencies, and accepted standards of practice.
  • Maintains high level of efficiency, organization, and time management to promote efficiency in the Medical Center; functions successfully with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates strong written, verbal, and phone skills; courteous, respectful toward patients, professionals, and team members; notifies appropriate team members of abnormal test results or emergent situations.
  • Accurately documents patient care in chart, maintains confidentiality of patient records, and files documentation in patient chart.
  • Accurately and safely maintains appearance and cleanliness of exam rooms, supply areas, and nurses station; disposes of contaminated equipment and disposable supplies in accordance with infection control guidelines.
