Physical Therapist Assistant
Job DescriptionThe Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), under the direction of a Physical Therapist, is responsible for providing therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.
ResponsibilitiesImplements treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation). Observes patient responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings and any concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist. Provides instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress ports Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Other duties as assigned.

Associate Degree
Experience:
0-1 years Licenses and Certifications Must have and maintain a current, valid state PTA licensure or certification Current valid CPR certification, preferred Travel:
