Community Health Alliance is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Mental Health Technician to join our mental health team. As the first point of contact for many of our clients, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting the daily operations of our residential treatment facility.

What You'll DoAs a Mental Health Technician, you will:

Provide care and support to individuals while maintaining a structured, therapeutic and safe environment for clients

Monitor and assist with self-administration of medication, ensuring compliance to policies and procedures

Implement individualized personal care plans for each client with a focus on individual goals and needs

Observe and document client behaviors, mood changes and progress to the treatment team

De-escalate and respond to crisis situations using approved intervention techniques

Facilitate group activities and structured skill-building exercises to promote independence and coping strategies

Work collaboratively with clinical staff, nurses, physicians and management staff to ensure continuity of care Follow all facility policies, safety procedures and confidentiality regulations to maintain compliance

Maintain clear and professional documentation of interactions, incidents and interventions

Duties and Responsibilities:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Valid Driver's License and Insurable driving record

Reliable transportation

Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment or related field is preferred, but not required (on-the-job training provided)
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and adhere to confidentiality regulations

Capable of strict adherence to policies and procedures
