Unpaid Support Desk Technician Intern
The Support Desk Technician Intern will be one of the primary technicians for students' technology needs at
D. Russel Lee and School of the Arts. Interns will:
- respond to "tickets" generated either from walk-up requests or online through the ticketing system;
- diagnose and recommend repairs; and
- work on special technology-related assignments.
Students will be provided with Butler Tech shirts and a set of computer tools which they will be allowed to keep upon completion of their internship. Interns will work between 8 and 20 hours a week. A schedule will be established at the start of the internship between the student, the counseling office, and IT staff. Internships run from September to April.
