** Duties and Responsibilities
*** Prepares customer orders for shipments.
* Checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
* Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from suppliers.
* Process packages via UPS Worldship and Fed Ex Ship Manager.
* Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor purchasing and quality control personnel.
* May be Department of Transportation’s Hazardous Materials Regulations (49

CFR, Parts 171-180) Certified.
* May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate shrink-wrap machine.
* Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
* Supports the inventory process by conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and performing other inventory-related tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency in stock management.
* Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
*** Qualifications &

Skills Required:

**** High School Diploma or GED, documentation skills, math skills with at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing ingredient plant preferred.
* * Strong organizational skills.*
* * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.*
* * Experience working in a GMP, Food Safety work environment with a complete understanding of warehouse activities.*
* * Strong focus on customer commitment.*
* * Excellent problem solving skills.*
* * Fork truck certification.
** Must follow safety requirements and ensure the production team follows the PPE requirements (safety shoes, safety glasses, face shield and respirator).
* Salary range: $17.01 - $20.42
