We are seeking a Utility Production Brewer to support daily brewery operations across the brewhouse, cellar, and packaging areas. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys physical work, takes ownership of cleaning and organization, and wants to grow within a professional brewing environment.
Position OverviewThe Utility Production Brewer plays a critical support role within the production team. This position assists with brewing days, cellar operations, keg cleaning, packaging runs, cleaning and sanitation, and general production tasks that keep the brewery running smoothly and safely.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in production brewing and gain experience across all areas of brewery operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with brewhouse operations, including grain handling, milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, and knockout
- Perform cellar duties such as tank CIP, transfers, dry hopping, yeast handling, carbonation, and tank prep
- Support packaging operations (canning and kegging), including setup, teardown, cleaning, and quality checks
- Execute thorough cleaning and sanitation throughout the brewery
- Assist with raw material handling (grain, hops, chemicals, packaging supplies)
- Follow all SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and properly labeled equipment
- Communicate clearly with brewing and packaging teams regarding issues or needs
- Support production at both Hamilton and Sharonville facilities as needed
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned
- Prior brewery, beverage production, or manufacturing experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow procedures and work efficiently in a team environment
- Comfortable performing physical labor, including lifting up to 55 lbs
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and flexible schedules as production requires
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working around industrial equipment – a plus
- Passion for beer, production, and process-driven work
Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Work in wet, hot, cold, and noisy production environments
- Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and wear required PPE
