Pay: $18.25/hour
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:15 PM
Job Summary: The Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately and safely processing all incoming materials and shipments. This role involves verifying the quality and quantity of goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and operating various material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, detail-oriented individual who values teamwork and is committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accurately process all incoming shipments, including verifying goods against packing slips, inspecting for damage, and processing transactions in the SAP system.
- Safely operate a variety of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such as a Dock Stocker, Reach Truck, and scissor lift.
- Use RF scanners and other systems for inventory transactions and to ensure accurate documentation.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper safety checks are performed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to 6S principles and all safety policies.
- Complete and document daily MHE inspections and participate in all required safety training.
- Monitor and resolve issues with open transfer orders and maintain accurate error logs.
- Meet all productivity and accuracy standards for receiving and shipping activities.
- Work collaboratively with a team and demonstrate the company's core values of accountability, teamwork, and leadership.
- Previous basic forklift experience is preferred, with the ability to obtain a license for various forklifts and lifts.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic math and a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- A stable work history and a strong personal commitment to workplace safety.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be flexible to work required overtime, which may include occasional Saturdays and Sundays, to meet business needs.
