Shipper – 1st Shift

Hamilton, OH 45011
Pay Rate: $15.00 – $17.00/hr

Work Schedule:

Monday – Thursday, 6:00am – 4:00pm

The Shipper is responsible for coordinating and maintaining product flow in and out of the facility to ensure accurate, timely shipments and proper receipt of materials. This role supports shipping accuracy, documentation, packaging compliance, and overall organization of the shipping and receiving area.

• Inspect and verify all shipping and receiving orders to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain and request supplies for the shipping and receiving area.
• Process and maintain records related to all shipping and receiving activities.
• Set up and operate equipment including postage machines, UPS systems, and Fed Ex systems.
• Recommend improvements to supervisors for the shipping and receiving area.
• Perform daily cleanup tasks to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow written and verbal instructions from production control supervisors or shipping/receiving lead.
• Ensure proper packaging methods are used for all shipments.
• Follow all procedures and requirements for exporting orders.
• Deliver received products to the appropriate areas within the facility.
• Process returned goods accurately.
• Instruct lesser-skilled employees within the shipping and receiving area.
• Use computer systems to check and receive orders.
• Operate forklift and other transportation equipment as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Work overtime, including weekends, as required.
• Wear all required PPE for the designated work area.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year experience in a similar environment or six (6) months as Shipping and Receiving C with Continental.
• Knowledge of traffic management and export procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret shop orders and shipping/receiving instructions.
• Knowledge of specific parts manufactured within the facility.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
