Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies, reporting near misses and hazards, wearing required PPE, and encouraging others to do the same.
- Perform Kanban deliveries based on operational demand, ensuring materials are delivered on time to support production requirements.
- Deliver reservation pallets to designated areas in alignment with production schedules, adhering to timing expectations for optimal flow.
- Ensure the timely movement of WIP and materials, maintaining production pace and meeting operational needs.
- Manage waste and recycling by emptying totes, disposing of cardboard, and dumping scrap hoppers within one hour of request.
- Operate the tugger and other material–handling equipment safely and efficiently, transporting materials throughout the facility.
- Complete daily Material Handling Equipment inspections to ensure safe operation of the tugger and other equipment.
- Support inventory accuracy by delivering the correct materials to designated locations based on reservation and Kanban system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area by following 6S principles and adhering to the work area’s Optimal State document.
- Complete required monthly safety training on time, applying learned principles to daily work.
- Exhibit company core values of accountability, teamwork, and leadership in all tasks and interactions.
- Adhere to assigned work schedule, arriving by shift start time and remaining ready to work; flexible to work overtime including occasional Saturdays and Sundays.
- Foster a positive work environment by demonstrating motivation, teamwork, and collaboration with colleagues.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Prior basic forklift experience; ability to obtain a license and operate various forklifts (order filler, stand‑up reach, scissor lift).
- Stable work history and strong personal commitment to work safely.
- Strong customer focus, work ethic, and willingness to do what needs to be done.
- Basic math skills, including working with decimals, and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Logical problem‑solving approach and willingness to learn and improve skills.
- Commitment to meet and exceed customer requirements.
- Ability to work required overtime during peak production periods.
- Physical capability to lift heavy objects (up to 40 lbs.) with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Good hand‑eye coordination and strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Well‑organized with excellent communication skills.
- Proven experience developing work processes to improve outcomes for the team and customers.
